PPA 571 is an alternative to traditional Thermosetting Powder Coatings in situations & on components where improved corrosion resistance & durability is required.
It provides a very tough and durable coating that is suitable for situations where long term, long lasting & trouble-free coatings are required. Low maintenance equals Lower Life-time costs.
- Superior resistance to Marine & Seaside situations.
- Resistant to Chlorine atmospheres in situations such as swimming pools. Very good all-round resistance to chemicals.
- High Ultraviolet light resistance with outstanding colour retention.
- High Dielectric Resistance.
- Approval for use on parts used in the drinking water & food industry.
- Low Release of Smoke in fire situations, will not add to the spread of flame with low toxicity and fumes in fire situations.
- Good Abrasion resistance with superior coverage of welded areas and the edges of components.
- PPA 571 passes the Building Regulations Part M Warm to Touch making it very suitable for Handrails and other parts that must feel Warm to Touch when used.
- Approvals for use with Drinking Water/Sewer Pipes & associated fittings.
- Above or underground.
- Good Green credentials, contains no chemicals that are harmful to the environment.
- Available to order with Anti-Microbial properties.
PPA 571 is extremely versatile and can be used on a wide variety of parts & components.
Street Furniture such as Benches, Tables, Playground Equipment & Litter Receptacles. PPA 571 has improved durability and resistance to impact and abrasion when compared to normal thermosetting powder coating.
Lamp Posts & other external lighting components. Low long-term maintenance means lower lifetime costs. Outstanding colour resistance that passes the Florida Test (5 Years at 45 degrees centigrade)
Fencing panels and associated parts, especially suitable for harsh conditions where maintenance would be costly and time consuming.
Ductwork and associated parts for swimming pool environments. (Interior or Exterior)
Busbars and other High Voltage parts. Very Good Dielectric strength. Passes ASTM D-119.
Vehicle parts where durability, flexibility & long-term corrosion resistance is needed. Good resistance to stone chips, cracking and flaking. Passes SAE J400. With enhanced salt spray resistance when compared to thermosetting Powder Coatings.
Metal structures, Signs, fascia’s and other parts in public facing situations where graffiti removal is needed. Easy removal of graffiti without degradation of the coating.
Approved for use on Pipework Valves & Fittings for the Water Industry. Passes WIS 4-52-01
Handrails, Grab Handles and other parts that must feel Warm to Touch when used. Passes the Building Regulations Document M standard.
