There are some important Golden Rules to remember;

Steel Parts must be free of mill scale or rust, if not then shotblast first.

Some parts have differing thicknesses of metal making up components, ensure parts are cured well (have enough time in the oven) to match the thickest section otherwise the powder will flake off.

Degreasing and Pretreatment are very important for all specifications, don’t be tempted to fudge this issue.

All parts have to be coated ‘fit for purpose’ If you know the end use and you don’t think the spec is high enough tell your customer.

Exterior Parts whether Aluminium or Steel must be Pretreated.
